Mansi language, likewise referred to as Vogul language (obsolete), occurs as language of the Mansi people. These are spoken inside Khantia-Mansia, along the Ob River & its tributaries, and area of Sverdlovsk Oblast in Russia. Based on data from a 1970 census, there were some 4,000 Mansi-speaking humans inside Russia.
A Mansi language belongs to the Ob Ugric (Ob Ugrian) subfamily of the Finno-Ugric languages. These are subdivided into the total of dialects, which differ from every more significantly. A base accent of the Mansi literary language is the Sosva dialect. Fixed choose of words is average for the Mansi language. Adverbials and participles play an important role inside sentence construction. A Mansi written language was created in the 1930s on the basis of the Russian alphabet.
